I feel like I should get a cookie, or something.

The Fiery Cross - Diana Gabaldon

I mean dang. I finally finished this book. I quit reading book 3 a few months ago, but I got so excited after more Outlander TV Show stuff came up that I decided to give the series another go. We know I loved book one. It's on my faves shelf. But book three was hard and I had to flounce and then go crawling back to it. Now, book 5 is done and I only have 3 more to go... oh, wait, there'll be a book 9.

So, all that said, I didn't really like this book that much. It was pretty much just eleventy billion pages of life on the mountain. How she made things. What they did to make things. Like a "IF you're ever caught in the past, here's how to..." book. I'm pretty sure I could survive in the 1700s now thanks to this tutorial.

It took me like 2 weeks to read this book. Normally I read a book in 1 or 2 days. Bah. I can't stop though. I am going to see this through.
